Architecture Training Camp
Yesterday I posted a job listing – Building a Mobile Monitoring Platform from 0 to 1 – and it attracted a lot of attention. Several people messaged me: “Johnson, I really want to learn architecture design from you. Would you consider running a course? I’d even pay for it.” Looking back at the people I’ve personally mentored, some went from zero to owning an entire vertical domain within a year, becoming what you’d call domain experts. I’m proud of that – it’s proof that the effort was worth it.
In reality, there are probably many engineers out there who, for lack of effective guidance, have fuzzy career plans and growth paths, wasting precious early years. As I mentioned in How Engineers Grow, having a reliable mentor can save you a lot of detours. With that in mind, I’m planning to start an “Architecture Training Camp” to offer guidance and advice in my spare time. If you’re interested, follow this post – I’ll update it with details later.
